Advocacy

BSA members include some 4,000 public, professional and affiliate members—more than 2,300 of whom are architects. The BSA works closely with AIA Central Massachusetts and Western Massachusetts AIA to ensure all three chapters speak with one voice—through the AIA Massachusetts Government Affairs Committee—on matters relating to legislative and regulatory advocacy. The BSA coordinates this work on behalf of AIA Massachusetts to effectively represent the interests of the profession at the state and local levels.
