Women in Design Mentoring Committee Presents

a Year Long Negotiation Series

If you don't ask you don't get. Women are roughly 2-3 times less likely to initiate negotiations than men and often don't hold out for their needs as long. This year, Women in Design is going deep on the topic with events and programming that demystify negotiation, develop negotiation skills, build a culture of asking for what we want and building shared value.

An Introduction to Negotiation:

This first event in the series brings together a panel of experts from diverse backgrounds, with insights into various types of negotiations and their role in the architecture and design fields. During this discussion the panel will review and evaluate successes and failures of different negotiation techniques as well as share their experience of lessons learned from the field.

The best thing you can do to up your negotiation skills is to use them.
