In the Pursuit of Housing, a design competition developed in 2005, asks young and student designers to think critically about the housing issues facing their generation by designing housing that they themselves could afford. 

The response to the BSA’s 2009 call for entries was astounding. The jury examined 130 submissions for this biennial awards program, with a  “mullet house” design by Jung Min Nam of Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design taking top honors.
