About ArchitectureBoston
ArchitectureBoston explores the ways that architecture influences and is influenced by our environment and our society. We hope to expand professional and public understanding of the changing world of architecture by drawing on the rich intellectual, professional, and visionary resources of our region.

Unlike many other architecture publications, we are an “ideas” magazine rather than a “picture book.”  Our stories connect architecture to social, cultural, political, and economic trends. Provocative and passionate, always clear and sometimes witty, ArchitectureBoston has earned a reputation as a leading source for innovative thought in our field.

ArchitectureBoston is a publication of the Boston Society of Architects, the largest chapter of the American Institute of Architects. The magazine appears bimonthly including a special “year in review” in the January/February issue. Each issue of the magazine focuses on a theme.

A benefit of membership in the BSA, ArchitectureBoston is also distributed to AIA members throughout New England and New York City as well as allied professionals (engineers, landscape architects, interior designers, attorneys), politicians and policy makers, business leaders, community groups and nonprofits, builders, developers, building owners and managers, educators, design schools, media representatives, interested members of the public, and subscribers. Total circulation is approximately 25,000.
