The Design Director (DD) is responsible for using design to achieve the consistent expression of the BSA and the BSA Foundation's mission and vision. She/he will uphold and advance the organizational brand, create and/or direct the creation of collateral, environmental graphics, and other design-based assets related to the BSA, the BSA Foundation, and BSA Space. The DD will also work with senior leadership and advisory committees to achieve a vision for the galleries at BSA Space and will oversee installations by guest curators. Must be equally comfortable producing work, as well as directing it. The DD will report to the Managing Director, Communications (MDC), and must work well with all senior leadership, boards, advisory committees, and staff.
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; 5+ years’ experience with brand management, graphic and exhibition design. Standard Adobe Creative Suite chops are required.
