Anneliese Latz earned her diploma (MA) at the Technical University of Munich in 1963, followed by activities at the Deutsche Landentwicklung München in the field of regional planning.

Since 1968 she has been an independent landscape architect in partnership and managing director of Latz + Partner Landscape Architects and Planners, Kranzberg, in addition to lecturing Internationally.
