Erika Spanger-Siegfried is the northeast climate project manager with the UCS.  Since 2005, Ms. Spanger-Siegfried has managed the Northeast Climate Impacts Assessment (NECIA), a collaboration between UCS and a multi-disciplinary team of more than 40 scientists from across the region committed to exploring future global warming in the Northeast states and the impacts of climate change on key sectors.  By combining state-of-the-art analyses with effective outreach the NECIA aims to provide opinion leaders, policymakers, and the public with the best available science upon which to base informed choices about climate change mitigation and adaptation.
