Michael R. Davis, AIA, LEED, Vice-President, has been a principal at Bergmeyer Associates, Inc. since 1984 focusing on the design of multi-unit housing and commercial buildings and street-level urban retail and restaurants in Boston and cities nationwide. His expertise is creating meaningful, relevant design through the analysis of context, program and process.

Mr. Davis, a LEED 2.0 Accredited Professional, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Architecture from Yale University. As a member of Mayor Menino’s Green Building Task Force and the Boston Civic Design Commission, Mr. Davis is experienced in public policy implementation in support of sustainability. He serves as faculty and an Overseer of the Boston Architectural College and serves on the Board of Directors of the Green Roundtable. As co-chair of the BSA’s Legislative Affairs Committee, he is active in advocacy for public policy initiatives that support sustainable design and has recently presented to Build Boston, the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association, the Environmental Design Research Association and the Massachusetts Climate Action Network.
