Joyce Coffee, LEED AP, is Director of Project Development, Research and Policy, for Chicago’s Department of Environment, where she leads the administration and implementation of Chicago’s Climate Action Plan, an unprecedented effort that directs and prioritizes environmental actions across the city and the region, including water conservation, water quality, stormwater management, Great Lakes, bird, and aquatic invasive species policy. Ms. Coffee completed her Masters Degree in Urban Planning at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She holds undergraduate degrees in Biology, Environmental Studies and Asian Studies from Tufts University.
