Keith Collins is the lead designer of the Manitoba Climate Change Strategy. In 2005, three years after assuming the role, Business Week magazine named Manitoba the #1 State, Province or Region Globally, for Action on Climate Change. Mr. Collins was a Rhodes Scholar and earned an MA from Magdalen College, Oxford. He founded the first Green Communities Initiative, in Ontario, retrofitting over 150,000 homes in its first 3 years and implementing the country's largest water efficiency, shade tree and solar hot water projects. As a member of the Ecologika consultancy, he worked in London on community-based recycling activities. He was also an Associate with the think tank Demos. |
