Anthony Flint is Director of Public Affairs at the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy. He writes about urbanism and development patterns. His next book examines Jane Jacobs’ battles with Robert Moses in 1960s New York. As a visiting scholar at Harvard Design School he wrote This Land: The Battle Over Sprawl and the Future of America. He practiced newspaper journalism for twenty years.

Flint served Office for Commonwealth Development as education director and was a Loeb Fellow at Harvard in 2000-2001. He is a graduate of Middlebury College and Columbia University.
