Evaluating the success of a project is a critical stage in design. Committee co-chair Ruth Neeman AIA presents an evaluation project conducted one year after move in at Garden View, the memory support program at Edgewood Retirement Community in North Andover. Because dementia has a multitude of causes, having a set of design guidelines that suits everyone is impossible; reviewing a project after occupancy increases knowledge base that can support informed design decisions in the future. Join the discussion with the Design for Aging Committee on February 21 at 5:15 pm at BSA Space (290 Congress Street, Boston) and bring your own POE projects and questions to share.
