Annual BSA Foundation Golf Tournament

The BSA Foundation Golf Tournament, scheduled for July 11, 2017 at the Pinehills Golf Course is cancelled. This year’s registration was down significantly and several long-time attendees were unable to attend. Thanks to everyone who participated over the years, with special thanks to Kurt Rockstroh FAIA for his years of organizing the tournament. Now, however, it’s time to hang up the cleats.

This event has been one of the premier fundraising events for the BSA Foundation, having raised over $500,000 to support design education for children, community design assistance, and programs that connect design professionals with policy makers and others who make decisions that affect the urban realm.

The BSA Foundation’s work continues, with specific goals to: 1) ensuring design education access for every child in Boston (demonstrated by programs like KidsBuild! and Imagine Boston 2030 Teen Brainstorm); 2) providing every neighborhood in Boston with access to design resources (demonstrated by the Housing Innovation Competition and East Boston resiliency programs); and 3) effecting changes in policies that result in socially and environmentally excellent design for everyone in Greater Boston (demonstrated by the Beacon Yards and Suffolk Downs Urban Design Workshops).
