Healthcare Facilities Committee

In October 2011 the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and the Facilities Guidelines Institute (FGI) hosted a seminar on designing for patient safety, bringing together multidisciplinary experts to address the role of the built environment in improving patient safety in healthcare facilities. Dr. Anjali Joseph, director of research for The Center for Health Design, joins the Healthcare Facilities Committee on June 20 at 5:15 pm at BSA Space (290 Congress Street, Boston) to present key findings from the seminar which will inform the 2014 Guidelines for Design and Construction of Healthcare Facilities.
