Housing Committee tour

Bruce Hampton AIA, the principal in charge of the deep energy retrofit of the 1960s-era affordable property Castle Square Apartments, leads the Housing Committee on a tour of the property on June 20 at 2:00 pm at 474 Tremont Street, Boston. Castle Square will be the nation’s largest retrofit when work is completed at the end of 2012. Hampton will give us an up close look at the super-insulated shell, the approach to air-sealing, ventilation, the heating and hot water systems, and the many other details that have gone into the project.
