For our April meeting, the Performing Arts Design Committee will attend MIT’s “Technology in stagecraft and storytelling,” a dialogue between multidisciplinary performance and media artist Robert Lepage and Metropolitan Opera general manager Peter Gelb on Thursday, April 26, at 5:00 pm at MIT’s Kresge Auditorium (48 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge). The presentation will cover a range of stage and film work, from Shakespeare to Peter Gabriel concerts and Lepage’s new Met production of Wagner’s Der Ring des Nibelungen.
