April 24, 2012 | 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM Mark Goulthorpe is the creative and technical director of three groups of networked inter-disciplinary teams at dECOi Architects, HypoSurface, and Zero+, as well as the BSA board of directors’ representative from MIT. He joins the Sustainability Education Committee on April 24 at noon at BSA Space (290 Congress Street, Boston) to discuss extreme material/fabrication research projects that offer alternative approaches to designing and building radically efficient building envelopes and interiors. He will cover lessons learned from these CAD/CAM processes and a current Zero+ research project for low cost housing using innovative fabrication and material logic.
