BSA/AIA

The Boston Society of Architects/AIA (BSA/AIA) is the eastern Massachusetts chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). We are New England's largest building industry association.

The BSA/AIA helps architects and architecture thrive. We build a strong community by offering:

  • Professional education and networking programs including conferences, workshops, and more than 40 active knowledge communities
  • Advocacy for architects and architecture at the local, state, and national level
  • Independent journalism, views, and commentary
  • Opportunities to share our design expertise with neighbors, allies, and partner

Established in 1867, the BSA/AIA is the second largest chapter of the AIA with more than 4,500 members. We produce a diverse array of programs and editorial content focused on keeping the profession strong, creating thought leadership, and in providing a forum for conversation, discovery, and debate about design. The BSA/AIA works closely with the BSA Foundation to bring the power of design to everyone.
