Canstruction

The Society for Design Administration (SDA) and BSA Space present Canstruction Boston 2012, a charitable design/build project to benefit the Merrimack Valley Food Bank. Previous years’ projects have included a giant bullfrog made of beans, corn and tuna cans (Northeastern University), a Ghostbusters logo from tins of tomatoes (TRO Jung|Brannen) and stacks of beans for an oversized sushi and soy sauce display (Nitsch Engineering). This year’s theme is “Fun and Games,” and 22 teams from Greater Boston will compete. Their designs will be on display at 290 Congress Street starting Monday, October 15.

Sponsors include Stop & Shop, Boston Properties and Atlantic Wharf, BSA Space, Air Graphics and others.

More details are available at canstruction-boston.org.
