Furniture and sculpture by Jacob Kulin

BSA Space is proud to host a special exhibition of furniture and sculpture by Boston-based artist Jacob Kulin.

Kulin’s wall-mounted and freestanding sculpture and furniture rely on the interplay of materials; while metal and wood are favored, Kulin also incorporates glass, steel and other media. Recently, Kulin has designed and fabricated unique home furnishings, specifically tables that blend metal, glass, and reclaimed hardwoods. These modern pieces maintain a sculptural quality and allow for functional use.

In his work, Kulin also strives to integrate the perfection of nature into each composition. From driftwood found on the coastlines of Denmark to aging trees in Boston’s forests, Kulin’s sculpture reflects a deep-rooted connection to natural forms.
