CORE August Meeting

How can CORE engage in the local efforts and position its members to be most effective in the conversation surrounding urban resiliency? How can the committee best structure itself moving forward? What is the best way for CORE to share its collective knowledge and resources so the members can best learn from one another?

The CORE August meeting set out to address these questions and establish a clear path forward for future initiatives. By the end of the meeting, members had suggested that we form groups to tackle certain tasks.

Task Group #1: Climate Action Plan Analysis - Local, State, and Regional
The next meeting on September 24th will focus on Climate Action Plans of varying scales. Members will come prepared to discuss the plans and identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunites presented in the readings. Our goal is to come away with a better understanding of the current methods being used to address climate change and urban resilience. The documents for discussion can be found here:
