This is a brief report on codes and regulatory activities including the status of pending bills and Building Code / regulatory changes under review by the Governor's Office under Exec Order 562. Topics include the status of Codes by boards that oversee all areas of building construction and the coordination of the codes of regulations (BCCC).

This 9th session of the 2017 Codes Committee’s annual cycle of code presentations is a first for the committee. Under the guidance of John Perry and Kathleen Hervol, we will learn about various code considerations related to outdoor athletic facilities.
This presentation on Outdoor Athletic Facilities will cover MAAB and ADA accessibility requirements, governing dimensional requirements, safety standards, and the MA Plumbing Code.
