About Leslie Saul & Associates, architecture and interiors

Do you have a complex architecture or interiors challenge? Do you need help sorting out the options for your space? Are you thinking sustainably but you’re worried about your budget? Are you afraid of color and pattern, but love it when others do it? Is your project in New England or Florida? Are you looking for someone with experience and design intelligence, who can guide you through the uncharted territory of the design and construction process?

If the answer is yes to any of these questions, please call us. Our designers will assemble a team that can make your (house) dreams come true!

Please note: our projects are as small as a single bathroom and as large as a 15,000 square foot custom house, and everything in between. We offer a $600 no obligation initial consultation that can launch your project in 3 hours, more or less. We'll give you homework to make our time together as efficient as possible. For DIYers, this may be enough, but for most of our clients, it's a great way to start a long lasting relationship. We look forward to meeting you virtually or in person!

Testimonials

“We have worked with LS&A twice, on two major projects over the course of 15 years. The first involved a complete restoration of a magnificent 1898 Arts and Crafts home. The second was a nearly total gut and rebuilding of a modern vacation home on a lakefront in Maine. In both cases LS&A has been a creative force, always reaching for the best design solution. I had little time to devote to our second-home project. LS&A stepped right in, identified, interviewed, and recommended the builder and landscape architect. They kept track of every detail, down to the drawer pulls. Their design ideas are gorgeous and creative. We have been told many times that our Mass. home is spectacular yet feels like a real home - a place where people want to gather. This is the highest compliment, in my opinion. 12 years later, it still looks wonderful. The vacation house is all about natural elements, and a subdued, natural palette. Thank you Leslie and team LS&A”

“We highly recommend Leslie Saul and Associates. LS&A worked with us to design and build our 15,000 sq ft stone and shingle house. We are a blended family with 8 children. From the very beginning, LS&A made getting to know and understand the dynamic of our family a priority. We did not sacrifice design for practicality. Leslie and Monique knew us and our children — all personally. In addition to superb design skills, LS&A brought us a fabulous contractor, introduced us to green energy, met with us weekly to discuss progress, set clear priorities, and a time-line that was maintained. LS&A never seemed overwhelmed by the enormity of our project. LS&A were excellent in the recommendations they made for consultation with specialists such as green energy, structural engineering, finished carpentry etc. We felt understood and supported throughout the entire construction period. Leslie was very good at generating design concepts. Monique is a master of organization. Together, they are a perfect team. During the interior design phase, LS&A introduced us to excellent resources within our budget. Our project took approximately 1.5 years. It was timely given the size of our home. We are absolutely delighted with our new home. We recommend LS&A without reservation and feel most fortunate to have worked with LS&A.”

“Leslie Saul has been creating wonderfully warm, playful, imaginative spaces for me and my different companies and home for over ten years. Each new project brings out a different look, yet I know I can count on her to blend the quixotic with the practical, bright colors with pleasing harmony and, above all, a profound sense of professionalism and responsiveness.”
