City Slickers' Cabin, 2016, Digital photograph, $350.00

Photography is my opening to the world around us, focusing on subjects that have a story to tell. I seek to make these scenes that bring beauty and life to our world, permanent objects of enjoyment. I do not manipulate photographs, representing the image as it is seen through the camera lens.

Built in 1991, for the film City Slickers, the cabin was built on the 21,000 acre, Ghost Ranch in Abiquiú, New Mexico to resemble a settler’s log cabin . After the film was completed, the staff at the ranch asked the film makers to continue to let it stand.
