About This Position

Ann Beha Architects seeks a Senior Technical Architect with 15-20 years of experience.


  • Directs production of schematic, design development and construction documents in collaboration with Project Manager
  • Coordinates project documentation execution, construction plans and details, and consultant team while ensuring quality control and completion
  • Coordinates with specifications writer to develop project specifications manual
  • Conducts quality control review of drawing sets and specifications at major project milestones
  • Assists project team to research and specify materials, products and systems
  • Collaborate with waterproofing and building enclosure consultant on the development of project details
  • Leads coordination meetings with consultants, clients and within office
  • Understands and coordinates engineering systems relevant to projects
  • Reviews shop drawings, material samples and CD’s for conformance with design
  • Performs construction administration duties (e.g. RFI’s, RFP’s, change orders, etc.)
  • Attends related professional events and report back to the broader architectural staff
  • Leads training/discussions to increase staff technical knowledge
  • Serves as a technical resource across all project teams and provide guidance and mentoring to the staff


  • Professional Degree in Architecture
  • Excellence in design and communications (both verbal and graphic)
  • Experience with delivering all phases of a project with institutional clients
  • Advanced knowledge of building codes, specifications, building and engineering systems
  • Ability to develop details in Revit and CAD
  • Ability to direct or coordinate work efforts of junior staff
  • LEED AP or within 6 months of hire
  • Professional Licensure
  • Ability to travel
