About This Position

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in interior design or architecture
  • Experienced with and knowledge of construction drawings
  • Experience with creating fit/space plans for various industry types
  • Excellent design sense, good judgment of colors/space, and detail-oriented
  • Proficient in programs including Revit, Sketch Up or 3D computer rendering, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Comfortable with hand sketches
  • Team-oriented, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lead the interior design process directly with clients
  • Ability to lead a team of interior designers throughout the entire design and construction process
  • Ability and willingness to mentor junior staff in the interior design field
  • Experience and ability to work in a fast paced, client/design oriented environment
  • Experience with commercial workplace and lab interiors preferred
  • AutoCAD v. 2015 or above
  • Revit v. 2015 or above
  • Navis Works
  • Newforma
  • 3D software (3ds Max, SketchUp)
  • Adobe Creative Suite (CS); Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
  • MS Office Suite – Excel, Word, MS Project

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor degree of architecture or interior design (accredited program)

Licensed professional preferred (AIA registration, NCARB certification or NCIDQ certification)
