About This Position

Stern McCafferty has immediate opportunity for a young architect with a passion for design and an interest in developing their skills with real project responsibilities.

We are looking for a team member who is creative and self-motivated, detail-oriented and hard-working. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience working in an architecture office. They should have proven design skills, strong graphic and communication skills, and experience developing working drawings. Proficiency in Auto cad, Adobe Creative Suite, Office, and Sketch Up is required.

This position will involve the candidate in all aspects of our practice, from developing initial design concepts, to doing renderings and making models, researching products, and producing construction details. We're a small studio and everyone contributes -- from design to project management, from marketing to construction administration.

This position will allow the candidate to learn and grow as an architect while contributing in a significant way to the work of our firm.
