About This Position

Creative and experienced Designer/Architect 5-8 years’ experience for socially and environmentally innovative projects.

Studio G is a collaborative and diverse architecture studio designing socially and environmentally innovative buildings. Located in Jamaica Plain’s vibrant Brewery complex, we seek team members with excellent design and production skills to engage in all aspects of educational, multi-family housing, and civic projects.

We seek a highly motivated, creative designer with 5-8 years of design firm experience.

Studio G seeks employees who contribute to our diverse, multi-cultural and LGBTQ-friendly workplace. We highly value candidates with creativity, analytical, and strong interpersonal skills. We welcome enterprising, entrepreneurial staff. Studio G provides mentoring as well as opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

Minimum requirements: B.Arch or M.Arch; complete proficiency in Revit, and SketchUp or Rhino; excellent design skills; strong communication skills; demonstrated experience working on design, presentation, and construction drawings. Ability to take direction and collaborate with others; flexibility.

Desirable: Experience with housing, K-12, higher ed and civic projects; experience coordinating consultants; LEED AP; Mass architecture license; PHIUS certification; commitment to AIA 2030.
