Monte French Design Studio (MFDS) is a collaborative studio working on several exciting, forward-thinking projects. With mass timber projects in development, a sustainable design ethos, and can-do mindset on every project we take on – we add value to project, community, and place through strategic thinking, proactive problem-solving, and designing with maximum impact.

Mass timber, Passive House, co-living and multifamily housing, mixed-use, master planning, and adaptive reuse are a few of the typologies currently in the works.

About This Position

MFDS is seeking a recent graduate to join our practice in Boston. Come join our practice for an active and expansive role in the projects you take on with an eagerness to grow and learn, contributing in small teams to strategize, design, problem-solve, and execute on multiple projects.

Qualifications:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong design and graphics skills, including Adobe CS
Proactive ability for self-learning and self-awareness for when guidance is needed
Strong 3D modeling skills
Experience in Revit

Role & Responsibilities:

Design studies under guidance from others
Digital and physical content preparation and packaging for presentations
Assistance and input in office marketing efforts
Project documentation under supervision of others
Assistance in construction administration

Requirements:

Professional degree in architecture
On-site work required
