BLOOM is seeking an inspired Boston-based Designer with 3+ years experience to join our South End studio full-time. Position has flexible hours, primarily in-person. Bring your agile design sense, enjoy a wide variety of design challenges, share our high-performance building goals, and contribute your unique personality to our small tight-knit studio.

Candidate will have a hands-on approach from concept to realization; support small design teams; develop innovative designs in a supportive, collaborative environment; work closely with our partners and consultants; and maintain involvement from initial concept through construction.

The project assignments will be varied and will include Institutional, Higher Education, Hospitality / Restaurant, Custom Residential, Mixed-Use, small-mid scale commercial.

Candidate should have prior experience of 3 years, post-graduation, in a US architecture office; an enthusiasm for unique, highly detailed design, and working knowledge of zoning, codes, and project documentation. Proficiency in Revit, and Adobe Suite is required. LEED, WELL, and/or Passive House certification is desirable but not required.
