The Proposal Writer/Manager supports the business development and marketing efforts of the firm. The primary focus of the role is on writing and producing proposals, and managing the assets needed for this task. Additionally, the Proposal Manager will contribute to other marketing tasks such as the preparation of award submissions, interview collateral, qualifications packages, and advertisements. The Proposal Manager reports to the Director of Marketing.

•Plan, organize, coordinate, and implement proposal development schedules and priorities;coordinating internal and external team members to ensure proposal submission and otherestablished deadlines are met.
•Prepare proposal materials including writing, editing, verifying and formatting proposalinformation, ensuring that the proposal material is accurate and well-written.
•Develop new content as needed.
•Manage and coordinate the quality control, proposal production/printing and proposal deliveryprocesses.
•Create, update and maintain marketing materials such as resumes, project descriptions andother marketing assets.
•Assist with the design and creation of materials for interviews, advertisements, and projectaward submittals.
•Execute post proposal follow up / documentation with external team members.

•Must have a design sensibility that aligns with the company’s design aesthetic.

•General understanding of basic marketing and business development concepts.
•Strong writing skills and previous experience with proposal development processes orequivalent.
•Experience creating and writing statement of qualifications, pre-qualification documents andother marketing related content and materials.
•Excellent organizational skills that support the ability to handle multiple proposals/taskssimultaneously.
•Proficient user of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign in particular).
•Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism or related area.
Hours of Work
•40 hours per week, or as required to meet proposal or other deadlines.
