Artist Statement
Bonaire Abstract, 2018, Photograph, $400
I am fascinated by the naturally occurring colors, textures and exquisite patterns found in both natural and manmade objects. The patterns that evolve in my natural surroundings, aging buildings and architectural details give me unlimited sources of inspiration. In my photographs I attempt to share my vision, composing with my camera, and altering color as minimally as possible…occasionally eliminating it because the pattern stands by itself.
