Angela D. Cahill AIA, LEED AP, senior project manager with Drummey Rosane Anderson, was recently elected to serve on the Connecticut American Institute of Architects (AIA) Board of Directors. Angela will serve on the board for three years, from January 2017 through December 2019. She has also served on the AIA CT School Construction Coalition for the past three years.

The 2017 jury of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects voted to elevate Tsoi/Kobus & Associates (TK&A) principal Jocelyn Frederick FAIA, to Fellow status. She will be honored at the AIA Conference on Architecture in Orlando, FL on Friday, April 28.

The Cincinnati Children’s/University of Cincinnati Health Proton Therapy Center, designed by TK&A, won the Alliant Build America Award for New Construction, while another TK&A project, The University of Chicago Medical Center, received the Construction Industry Service Corporation Project of the Year Award. Laboratory Design newsletter featured a profile of TK&A Director of Science + Technology, Steve Palumbo AIA, and an article about finding the story of your lab renovation project by Laurie DaForno AIATK&A Sustainability Practice Leader Blake Jackson AIA wrote about the benefits of renewable energy credits for College Planning & Management magazine and his article “Sustainable Design: The Driver for Transdisciplinary Architecture” was published in the Melbourne School of Design’s internationally distributed publication Inflection Journal

Harriman is proud to announce that Principal Judy Johnson AIA, LEED AP BD+C has been selected by American Institute of Architects (AIA) New England to serve on the AIA National Strategic Council. Johnson will be one of 55 representatives on the council, each representing different regions and areas of interest across the United States. The three year appointment began on January 1, 2017.
