We Stand Together to Stop Asian Hate Crimes
The Boston Society for Architecture stands with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) in the fight against anti-Asian racism. We are horrified by the shootings on March 16, and by the racist actions that have allowed this kind of targeted violence against minority groups for generations.
A Letter from the Presidents on Race & Architecture
Conversations about racial equity have stimulated new ways of thinking about diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice. As architects, we have substantial work to do within our own profession to include, mentor, sponsor, and provide leadership opportunities for BIPOC architects. Our contributions to our clients, our communities, and our world suffer because of the narrow breadth of viewpoints and life experiences within our profession. We need to act now. Please be one the voices to help us create meaningful change.
A Message from the BSA on Racism
We ask our members, allies, and friends to move forward in solidarity with empathy and support. When designers come together to change the systems that perpetuate violence and cruelty, we will harness our energies to create more just, equitable and inclusive communities.
