Access Committee

Understanding How the Proposed Changes to 521 CMR May Impact Landscape Architecture

In collaboration with the Boston Society of Landscape Architects, the Access Committee will be hosting a conversation about the proposed changes to 521 CMR and how the new regulations may impact landscape architects and their work. The Architectural Access Board is in the midst of a series of public hearings regarding the proposed changes, which are expected to become effective early next year.

The conversation will include a brief overview of the revised technical requirements of 521 CMR that may be applicable to the architecture landscape practice. The proposed changes to 521 CMR may be found here, as well as a downloadable PDF in “red-line” format:

Please invite your colleagues and consultants! Lunch will be provided, but please RSVP in advance.
