Capturing the Changing Cityscape: Visual Expressions of the Built Environment

Atlantic Wharf Gallery is now home to The Space in Between, a photography exhibit that originated at the Photographic Resource Center, curated by Erin Wederbrook Yuskaitis, which focuses on built environments in urban settings. This exhibition offers intelligent, artistic interpretations of our present societal condition via the constructed realm, and the images portray a timeless feel, preserving a particular expression of culture for generations to come.

In celebration of this exhibit and its pertinence to Boston, BSA Space and the Photographic Resource Center invite you to a panel discussion and reception that will explore how architects and photographers capture a constantly changing cityscape, and how aesthetic and archival concerns come into play when photographing the urban environment.

Moderated by renowned architectural photographer Peter Vanderwarker, panelists include featured artists Stefanie Klavens, Daniel Feldman, and Chris Gervais, co-chair of the BSA Architectural Photography Network.

This free event is co-sponsored by the Boston Preservation Alliance. Click "register" to attend.
