Committee on the Environment with the IPD/Lean Roundtable

Effective Collaboration for Improved Project Outcomes

Effective collaboration doesn't happen by accident. Integrative project delivery - or even IPD "lite" is a powerful way to deliver higher performance and higher value by optimizing team input and building systems integration, but what are the challenges? New expectations and new behaviors add a level of uncertainty that makes people uncomfortable. What is your firm’s current project delivery methodology? Can you describe it? How would that methodology change to become more integrative? How does that methodology become institutionalized so that you can deliver a consistent, high quality? IPD is not just a matter of project activity - it is an organizational-level initiative that requires strong leadership and adaptation of systems, processes and protocols. This session will share frameworks and roadmaps to help you think through the transformation and develop approaches to be more successful.

Barbra Batshalom, Executive Director of the Sustainable Performance Institute will demonstrate these processes for effect collaboration in a joint session between the Committee on the Environment (COTE) and the Integrated Project Delivery/Lean Roundtable.
