Conversations on Architecture: OfficeUS, Venice Biennale 2014

OfficeUS, the US Pavilion at the 2014 Venice Architecture Biennale, was an ambitious project that documented the past 100 years of design exported by American firms across the world, while creating a functioning architectural workplace. Responding to director Rem Koolhaas's theme of “Fundamentals” and organized by Storefront for Art and Architecture in New York City and the Boston-based journal Praxis, the exhibition and associated publications have generated widespread media buzz and critical acclaim.

Join in a lively dialogue between Amanda Reeser Lawrence, cofounder of Praxis and editor of an OfficeUS publication, and curators Ana Miljacki, associate professor at MIT; and Ashley Schafer, cofounder of Praxis and associate professor at Ohio State University—to learn more about this celebrated pavilion.

For those who qualify, 2.0 LUs are available.
