Join us as we continue our fall series of Family Design Day programs with our annual Bridge Design Day. Learn about the different types of bridges spanning our city’s waterways and then design and build your own bridge for our Fort Point neighborhood.

*This event is now full*

This family program is designed for parents and children aged five to 13. A maximum ratio of one adult per three children is required. BSA Space is one block from South Station. Enter through BSA Space’s public entrance, and go up the iconic green staircase. The program will begin promptly at 10:30 am.

Family Design Day programs encourage children and adults to observe, explore, and design together. In these two-hour hands-on workshops, families are introduced to architecture and design through exhibition tours, walking tours, or slideshows and then complete a hands-on design activity. Architects and design educators lead the activities focused on the built environment of Boston and the world.
