Family Design Day: CANSTRUCTION! with LEGO bricks

Join Learning By Design @ BSA SPACE for a tour of Canstruction where teams of Boston area Architects and Engineers have executed their favorite pop culture icons in full cans of food! We will tour the colossal structures of Canstruction and then design your own project using LEGO bricks.

If you would like to bring non-perishable food items, they will be donated to Merrimack Valley Food Bank.

This Family Program is designed for parents and children ages 5 – 13 years old, a maximum ratio of one adult per three children will be required. Tickets are $8 per person, children and adults. BSA Space is one block from South Station. Enter through the BSA Space entrance and come up the Green Stairs. Program begins promptly at start time.

Family Design Day Programs encourage children and adults to observe, explore, and design together. In these hands-on workshops, families are introduced to architecture and design through exhibit tours, walking tours, or slide shows, and then complete a hands-on design activity. Architects and Design Educators lead the activities focused on the built bnvironment of Boston and the world.

Thank you to Atlantic Wharf for supporting Family Design Days @BSA SPACE.
