Price: $8
Where: BSA Space, 290 Congress Street, Boston

Family Design Day: What’s Your Type?

Join us as we explore the world of type through the exhibition Stereotype: New directions in typography. We will tour the exhibit to learn how artists and designers are expanding the boundaries of traditional typography then we’ll design and create our own personal logo using 2D and 3D materials.

Family programs are designed for children 5 – 13 years old, accompanied by an adult – a maximum ratio of three children per one adult will be required. Tickets are $8 per person, children and adults. BSA Space is one block from South Station. Program begins promptly at start time.

Family Design Day Programs encourage children and adults to observe, explore, and design together. In these hands-on workshops, families are introduced to architecture and design through exhibit tours, walking tours, or slide shows, and then complete a hands-on design activity. Architects and Design Educators lead the activities focused on the built environment of Boston and the world.

Thank you to Atlantic Wharf for supporting Family Design Days @BSA SPACE.
