Kids Design Workshop: Pop-Up Play

How does active play contribute to a sense of freedom, exploration, and risk in play spaces? Families will view examples of pop-up play during a curator’s tour of the Extraordinary Playscapes exhibition, then go outdoors to play and build on the HarborWalk with Imagination Playground and more!

This family program is designed for parents and children aged five to 13 years old. Each child must be registered individually and accompanied by an adult, with a maximum ratio of one adult for every three children required.

Kids Design Workshops are a complementary component of Design Museum Boston’s ongoing exhibition Extraordinary Playscapes and are presented in partnership with Design Museum Boston.

Family Design Days are a program of the BSA Foundation.

Directions
BSA Space is one block from South Station. Enter through the BSA Space entrance and go up the green staircase. The program begins promptly at 10:30 am.
