Living with Water competition celebration

Join us for a public jury review of competition submissions and a celebration of participating teams and selected finalists. Nearly 250 architects, planners, artists, engineers, landscape architects from countries around the world submitted over 50 proposed solutions for three specified sites: Morrissey Boulevard, Fort Point Channel, and the North End waterfront. Competition jurors will announce the finalists and share insights and impressions in a lively discussion moderated by WGBH's Rupa Shenoy, followed by a celebratory reception.

This spring, BSA Space will work with key partners to explore one of the most distinct effects of climate change in coastal cities: sea level rise. The Boston Living with Water project includes an international competition, and is jointly organized by The Boston Harbor Association, City of Boston, Boston Redevelopment Authority, and Boston Society of Architects.

Rupa Shenoy is a radio and TV reporter for WGBH News and has done stories for the programs Marketplace, Morning Edition, and All Things Considered. She was previously a reporter for The Associated Press in Chicago.
