MakeTank! Launch

MakeTank! Maker culture in design firms

Will maker culture shift architectural practice in coming years? Has your office embraced it? Join Brad Prestbo, Sasaki Associates, and Ryan Salves, CW Keller, as they kick off a new BSA committee—MakeTank!, an exploration of technologies and processes changing the way we make and build.

This is the first of a series of conversations, site visits, workshops, etc. If you can’t make it but would like to know about future events, email committees@architects.org with the subject line “Sign me up for MakeTank!”  and share your thoughts on “maker spaces" through this survey.

MakeTank! supports the maker cultural revolution by exploring and advancing knowledge of making as an extension of architectural investigation through presentations, small group discussions and member-run training sessions with this friendly peer learning group.
