The HERS system provided quantifying for what had been what had been a qualitative house characteristic – energy efficiency. We will discuss the HERS raters role, tools and value. This class will also look at using a HERS rater and rating to succeed with residential construction in a Stretch Code town.

Please join us for a presentation to learn about the HERS process and the MA Stretch Code.Mike Schofield from ClearResult will talk about the Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Index and what the inputs are for a HERS index. We will also learn about how to achieve a good HERS index and how the index is used.
