The WELL Building Standard: Costs, Benefits, and Synergies Between Rating Systems

Brian Salazar, a developer, and Tyrone Yang AIA, an architect, will present an overview of the WELL Building Standard while exploring opportunities offered by synergies with other building rating systems, such as LEED and FitWel, that also address human health. We’ll touch on some of the health research behind selected design recommendations. The presenters will also discuss the practical costs of different certifications and the challenges of justifying these investments with the human resource benefits of healthy buildings.

Co-sponsored by BSA-COTE.
Lunch sandwiches are offered.
