Traffic Advisory Speaker Series: City Models/Three Perspectives

Jerry Dobrovolny, director of transportation for the City of Vancouver, British Columbia; Harriet Tregoning, director of the Washington, DC, Office of Planning; and Phillip Washington, general manager of Denver’s Regional Transportation District will present three multiscale perspectives on transportation development. The panelists will discuss how the varying rail, bus, car sharing, bike, and pedestrian systems within their respective cities allow for more individuals to live, work, and play without the need for a personal automobile. In addition, topics such as gentrification, transit-oriented development, and bike infrastructure will also be highlighted as part of the panel discussion.
