Urban Design Committee lecture: "Occupied: Exploring Contemporary Use of Public Space"

Join the Urban Design Committee for an exploration of contemporary use of public space in Europe and the United States. Panelists will present case studies and projects that shed light on the diverse approaches that architects, planners, artists, and citizen-led groups are taking to reclaim under-utilized public space. Through a discussion of projects ranging from large spectacles to small temporary interventions, the panel aims to re-imagine public space beyond passive recreational use.
