Women/ Wikipedia/ Design

Women/Wikipedia/Design is a global call for contributions to Wikipedia entries that focus on women in architecture, urbanism, design, and construction to address the underrepresentation of women in these disciplines.

This year, celebrate International Women’s Day by joining the advocacy movement with ArchiteXX at BSA Space. Collaborate with colleagues from 1:00–3:00 pm on Sunday, March 8, to write about women designers and architects who have inspired you, or who are not accurately or sufficiently represented in the media or archives.

By RSVP’ing to this event, you will be invited to an online collaboration to develop a list of women whom you would like to celebrate on Wikipedia. Everyone is encouraged to collaborate. Bring a laptop and rewrite history! This event, free and open to the public, kicks off an upcoming Equity by Design series at BSA Space.
