This session will address scoping requirements: Under what circumstances accessibility is required in new construction and alterations, how many units need to be Group 1, Group 2A, ADA mobility accessible, Section 504/UFAS accessible and how many need to be communication accessible for people who are deaf. We will address the role of each agency in enforcement of the regulations and the MAAB variance procedure.

This session will address the design requirements for Fair Housing units, Group 1 units, Group 2 units, ADA and UFAS mobility accessible units, communication accessible units and common and public use areas.
